David Llewellyn

(Chartered Builder) David Llewellyn

David has over twenty years experience in the energy efficiency industry and has worked for CIGA, contractors and managing agents.

Prior to forming Llewellyn Smith he was head of quality control on the government's Warmfront Scheme with an annual value of £45m in the Yorkshire, East Midlands and East Anglia area. This involved inspecting around 4000 cavity wall, loft insulation and draught proofing installations and 2000 central heating installations each year. Previously he has worked in the commercial construction sector, acting as a project manager, specialising in fire protection and acoustics.

Paul Smith

(Chartered Building Surveyor) Paul Smith

Paul has worked in the building industry for over thirty years. He spent over twenty years working in various local authorities culminating in him heading up the building maintenance & energy division for a large local authority in the South.

He then joined a building surveying company working on a wide range of building projects for London Underground and Railtrack. In 2000 he headed up the procurement section for the Eastern region of the government’s ‘Warmfront Scheme’ and was responsible for the engagement and contract administration of over sixty insulation and heating companies working on the scheme.

Susan Pyke

(Office Manager) Sue Pyke

Sue has over fifteen years experience of business and financial analysis. During this time she has worked for TXU / Powergen providing key information for the effective management of several multi million pound projects including the outsourcing of the whole of the companies customer services division.

More recently Sue has worked as a practice manager for a FCCA Accountant where she worked with a wide range of businesses in an advisory capacity on financial and administration issues managing over 250 clients.

Since joining Llewellyn Smith Sue has been responsible for leading the company towards the acquisition of ISO 9001. She also controls the day to day management of the Quality Control Inspection Service and co-ordination of Back Office Operations.
