Energy Efficiency

Since 2002, Llewellyn Smith has supported energy suppliers in the UK meet their obligations under the government's Energy Efficiency Commitment programme.

This scheme, implemented by Ofgem, forms part of the UK government’s Climate Change Programme. Between 2002 and 2005 (EEC1) the programme delivered over 62TWh of energy savings through the provision of energy savings measures to domestic properties in the UK. The success of the scheme led to an increased energy savings target of 130TWh for the period from 2005 to 2008 (EEC2). Carbon Emission Reduction Target (C.E.R.T) (2008-11) is likely to see target doubling again.

We provide a range of independent inspection and consultancy services to our clients which include major energy suppliers and energy advice centres.
