The extensive experience of the Directors and our focus on recruiting staff predominately from the building and insulation industries ensures we continue to build our knowledge base and maintain high levels of expertise in our chosen market sectors.

David Llewellyn

David has over twenty years experience in the energy efficiency industry and has worked for CIGA, contractors and managing agents.

Prior to forming Llewellyn Smith he was head of quality control on the government's Warmfront Scheme with an annual value of £45m in the Yorkshire, East Midlands and East Anglia area. This involved inspecting around 4000 cavity wall, loft insulation and draught proofing installations and 2000 central heating installations each year. Previously he has worked in the commercial construction sector, acting as a project manager, specialising in fire protection and acoustics.

Sue has over fifteen years experience of business and financial analysis. During this time she has worked for TXU / Powergen providing key information for the effective management of several multi million pound projects including the outsourcing of the whole of the companies customer services division.

More recently Sue has worked as a practice manager for a FCCA Accountant where she worked with a wide range of businesses in an advisory capacity on financial and administration issues managing over 250 clients.

Since joining Llewellyn Smith Sue has been responsible for leading the company towards the acquisition of ISO 9001. She also controls the day to day management of the Quality Control Inspection Service and co-ordination of Back Office Operations

 

Staff

Our ACOPS accredited staff are able to provide timely energy efficiency inspections on a national basis. Each inspector is fully equipped including the latest fibre optic boroscopes to ensure we can carry out internal inspections at our clients customers premises with the minimum of disturbance.
  • Many of our staff are trained to undertake Fire Safety Audits.
  • Additional technology including palm top computers and satellite navigation systems help ensure our staff are at the right place at the right time enabling us to deliver timely and efficient services to our clients.
  • All staff carry ID cards and we are able integrate with clients security practices including call centre identification verification and password schemes where staff are required to access domestic premises
